Critters for the stockings

Made some new stuffed felt critters for our kids' Christmas stockings. This koala (5yo's fave animal right now) has a pocket in which I included some felt leaves for the koala to "eat." And that is an E, for her name, on the behind.

For our 7yo, I made a lizard (and the name also starts with E).

On the other side of this critter I have a pocket as well, with felt bugs.

Life Cycle in Felt 2

I made another life cycle set with felt. I already had made a frog, which is a puppet... The first portion of the cycle, the frog eggs, are a bundle of beads on felt leaves. Then tadpole, then tadpole with back legs, young frog with tail stump, then adult. (view my butterfly life cycle here)

Made a life cycle set: the egg on a leaf, the caterpillar (using my centipede), the chrysalis, and the butterfly!

First Felt-ustration: Farm

I've always wanted to make an illustration using felt. I completed one for my nephew's nursery! His room has a John Deere Baby theme.

It was fun!

made some more: a chipmunk, requested to go with the squirrel :)

and chicks for the girls' Easter baskets (those are dangly thread legs haha)

I've gotten on a felt kick.

Here's some critters I've been making to satisfy my creative bone!
